God's Continuous Deliverance of His People. Psalms 34 (Verse 1-22).

I recently blessed a Christian friend and prayed that the LORD's continuous deliverance be in both hers and her children's lives. I could see from her expression that she was not delighted at my words. I wondered that I might have said something wrong but the more I thought about it, the more I figured out that the word deliverance may have been taken out of context. 

In Psalms 34, King David expressed his gratitude to the LORD for His continuous deliverance. He acknowledged the LORD as the only one who can deliver him from all his fears (verse 4,) afflictions (verse 19) and troubles (verse 6 & 17).

When I read Psalms 34,  this favorite scripture echoes the same sentiments to me. Experience has taught me that I cannot walk on this journey alone. My complete dependence is in the LORD for His continuous and complete deliverance. Where will I be without His deliverance when the world (devils and his support system of sinners and false brethren) is against me?

I believe every true Christian believer's hope must be in God's continuance deliverance from all fears, afflictions and troubles. 

Psalms 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Be blessed my fellow brethren and may the LORD deliver you continually.
